World
Hereford Conference is held every four years, the last being hosted
by the Australian Hereford Associations in 2004. The next, in 2008,
will be held in Scandinavia.

The first World Conference was held in the UK in 1956 and has since
been hosted by Argentina, Canada, New Zealand, Uruguay, Spain, U.S.A.,
South Africa and the Republic of Ireland.

| An informal
gathering of Hereford Cattle Breeders from across Europe is held every
two years and is hosted by a different country on each occasion. Gatherings
have been held in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Denmark,
Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia, Holland, Hungary, and Germany, with
the next being hosted in 2010 by the UK Hereford Cattle Society. |

events are attended by Hereford Cattle Breeders from many parts of the
World, the hosts having organised various events and tours together
with technical and practical presentations on the breed. |
