Hereford Beef Schemes
There are a number of Hereford beef schemes available to both commercial and pedigree breeders.
Dovecote Park / Waitrose
The main Hereford Beef Scheme in England is administered by Dovecote Park, the dedicated meat processors to Waitrose. 
Dovecote Park currently offer a premium for carcases between 260 and 400 kg and within specification.
The demand for quality Hereford Beef being marketed under the " Waitrose Hereford Beef" label is continuing to expand. Branded Hereford Beef is now available at a number of selected stores throughout the UK.
In developing this markert an increasing number of producers of "Prime Hereford" sired cattle are being sought. This excellent scheme, was set up to offer consumers beef of the highest quality. Meat which is nutritious and succulent, with enhanced flavour.
