Hereford Sire of the Year
Points may be gained from any of the following Shows and Official Hereford Sales where there are a minimum of 20 entries and 4 Exhibitors present:-
Buckingham County, Burwarton, Bury, Cheshire County, East of England, Great Yorkshire, Honiton, Kington, National Hereford, National Poll, Newbury, N. Ireland National, Royal Bath & West, Royal Cornwall, Royal Highland, Royal Ulster, Royal Welsh, Scottish National, Shropshire & West Midlands, South of England and Three Counties. Autumn 2009 and Spring 2010 Shows & Sales at Carlisle, Dungannon & Hereford and Winter Show & Sale in Dungannon.
1st - 5 points 2nd - 4 points 3rd - 3 points 4th - 2 points
Any Male or Female Championship (Junior, Intermediate or Senior) - 3 points
Any Reserve Championship (Junior, Intermediate or Senior) - 2 points
(Only one Championship or Reserve per Show)

An individual animal will only be awarded points from one showing.
No points will be awarded for cattle owned in partnership by two separate herds.
Points will only be awarded to cattle bred within the United Kingdom.

An individual animal can only gain points for its Sire at one showing per annum.
Points will only be awarded for Sires that are, or have been, resident in the United Kingdom.
In the case of a Sire jointly owned, the Trophy will be shared by the owners.
