European Conference
An informal gathering of Hereford Cattle Breeders from across Europe is held every two years and is hosted by a different country on each occasion. Gatherings have been held in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia, Holland, Hungary, and Germany, with the next being hosted in 2010 by the UK Hereford Cattle Society.
World Conference
The Hereford Societies in the four Nordic countries Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark hosted the 15th World Hereford Conference in the Nordic countries in the summer of 2008.
The conference was held in Copenhagen, Denmark with pre & post tours to Finland, Sweden and Norway. Events included visits to The old historic capitals Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki and Copenhagen with lots of nature, including the typical Nordic midnight sun – and of course herd visits, where great Nordic hospitality was demonstrated.
