The wind and rain may have stopped play on day three of the Royal Cornwall Show, however the weather certainly didn’t stop our Hereford exhibitors putting on a fantastic display of both horned and polled Hereford cattle for our judge Mr Jimmy Speirs, Bedfordshire.

Our Breed Manager Seth Wareing caught up with the judge Mr Jimmy Speirs after the judging where Jimmy commented saying ‘There was a lot of good quality Herefords forward, with strong, powerful cattle, showing great style.’ Jimmy commented saying that he likes a darker coloured Hereford and was also looking for cattle that could move well. The Cattle that came out in the top spot are cattle that Jimmy would like to see come home with him. Watch the video here

A huge thanks must go to all of the exhibitors and stockmen that put on a fabulous display of Herefords despite the testing weather conditions and a big thankyou again to our Judge Mr Jimmy Speirs of the Pepperstock Hereford herd for doing a professional job judging.
