Moralee 1 Pippa RK281 has made memories for team Moralee being tapped out as Supreme Interbreed Champion and Overall Supreme Champion at this years National Polled Show held at Moreton In Marsh, making history for owners Tom and Di Harrison, winning both the Horned and Polled Nationals this year. Pippa RK281 made her 2026 debut at Moreton having won Supreme Champion at both the Royal Highland and Great Yorkshire Show last year. Born in May 2022, Pippa is a four year old cow and has a March born bull calf at foot, Moralee 1 Duke. Duke is sired by a blast from the past, Aqua Hollow Talent, a Canadian import born in 1978 who was the HCS Sire Of The Year for three consecutive years. Pippa is sired by Moralee 1 Rebel Kicks, Hereford Champion of Europe in 2021, multiple Interbreed Championships and former Polled Bull Of The Year in 2019. Rebel also sired the record breaking bull Moralee 1 Big Time, selling for 22,000gns last year. Pippas dam Coley 1 Pippa 356 was purchased as a yearling from Coley in 2016 and has since won many championships herself including Reserve Female Champion at the National Poll Show in 2018. Coley 1 Pippa 356 has bred several champions including Moralee 1 Prince, former Sire Of The Year in 2024 and Moralee 1 Pippa KS S11 who was Senior Female Champion at The National Poll Show 2021. Commenting on the Champion, Judge Mr Andrew Hughes said ‘The cow class was easily the best class of the day. A strong line up of cows and calves with my champion, a standout, flashy, big cow that’s doing a great job of her calf. My ideal show animal’.

Team Moralee with the Overall Supreme Champion
Taking the Reserve Supreme Champion and top honours in the males, winning Overall Male Champion was March 2025 born, Dendor 1 Cruzcampo, exhibited by DE, ED & AL Jones. Having won several championships already this summer, there was no doubt Cruzcampo would make it to the top, impressing our judge with Andrew commenting’ He’s a well balanced bull, full of flesh, well marked and has a tremendous top with next to no faults’. Cruzcampo won the biggest bull class of the day, Bulls born on or between 1st March – 30th April 2025 with a total of ten entries. Cruzcampo is sired by the Jones’s stock bull Solpoll 1 Vanquish who is also the sire to Dendor 1 Lilac Wine 46th who stood 2nd out of 8 in the September-December 2024 class. Vanquish has sired the last two Agri Expo Supreme Champions along with the last two Junior Champions at the National Calf Show. His dam Dendor 1 Echo 36th is a Backgard 1 Keno 1178 daughter who was Reserve Female Champion at Shrewsbury Calf Show in 2019 and has bred three daughters all selling into pedigree Hereford herds.

Following closely behind Cruzcampo taking the Reserve Male Championship and Reserve Intermediate Male Champion was Keadyview 1 Casino, exhibited by S & H O’Kane. A half brother to the Overall Champion Moralee 1 Pippa RK218, Casino is sired by Moralee 1 Rebel Kicks and out of Holestone 1 355 BB Tessa, an AL 10Y Hometown Big Bang 7MA daughter, purchased privately from Ivan Haire, Dorepoll Herefords. Born January 2025, Casino was Interbreed Champion at the Welsh Multibreed Calf Show in 2025 along with winning Reserve Junior Champion at the Royal Welsh Show this year.

Allwood 1 Cardinal exhibited by F J Wood & Sons took the Reserve Senior Male Championship after winning the Bull born on or between 1st September 2024 and 31st December 2024 class. Cardinal is an October 2024 born Dendor 1 triple H son which the Woods purchased privately from Dendor in 2021. His dam is Dendor 1 Anna Mary 44th which was again purchased privately from Dendor after having won at both Agri Expo and Shrewsbury Calf Shows.

Taking the Junior Male Championship and Reserve Overall Junior Champion was Pulham 1 Dependable, exhibited by PRJ & LR Vincent. Born in September 2025, Dependable is a Pulham 1 Achilles son and out of Cleland 1 Oyster Gem 55th, a first calved heifer whose maternal sister Kinglee 1 Oyster Gem 756 won the January 2024-August 2024 born heifer class. Dependable recently took Reserve Interbreed and Overall Hereford Champion at the Aylsham Show at just 12 months of age.

Following right behind Pulham 1 Dependable taking the Reserve Junior Male Championship was second prize Normanton 1 Dumbledore exhibited by TD & WT Livesey. Dumbledore is a September born calf sired by Cleland 1 Nelson who also sired both the Female Champion and Junior Male Champion at the Poll Show in 2021. His dam Normanton 1 Fistulina 34th is a Panmure 1 Pudding daughter.

Kingsland 1 Churchill took 1st prize in the Bull born on or between 1st May 2025 and 31st August 2025 class, exhibited by Peter Vaughan, Vaughns Farms Ltd. Churchill is sired by Solpoll 1 Trailblazer, who was initially purchased by Bowendu Herefords for £10,000 and was then sold at the Designer Genes Sale in 2023 for 10,000gns after a successful show career and winning joint bull of the year. Churchills dam is Kingsland 1 Joyful, a Fisher 1 Jaguar daughter. Vaughans Farms had a successful day also bringing home a 2nd and 3rd prize behind Dendor 1 Cruzcampo in the Bull born on or between 1st March 2025 and 30th April 2025 class with Kingsland 1 Caruso and Kingsland 1 Cracker, again both Trailblazer sons.
Winning the youngest bull class of the day was Pulham 1 Diesel, exhibited by PRJ & LR Vincent. A November born bull calf, Diesel is sired by Solitude 1 Vantastic, an EX95 classified, homozygous polled Herberry 1 Herbert son. His dam is Pulham 1 Julia 2nd, an Appel 1 Kaboom daughter.

Moving into the females it was Bosbury 1 Laurel C128 GT exhibited by S Hawkins who took Reserve Overall Female Champion and Intermediate Female Champion. Laurel is a February 2025 born Grifford 1 Try daughter whose a Fabb 1 Northern Star son. Her dam Bosbury 1 Laurel V68 is a Barwise 1 Nabucco daughter. Laurel has had a successful summer with her most recent accolades being Reserve Female Champion at Burwarton Show and Junior Female Champion at the Royal Three Counties Show this year. Judge Andrew Hughes commented on this heifer saying’ Shes flashy and well balanced’. Laurel initially won the Heifer born on or between 1st January 2025 and 28th February 2025 beating eight other entries.

Reserve Intermediate Champion and 1st prize in the Heifer born on or between 1st September 2024 and 31st December 2024 went to Pulham 1 Lucy 7th exhibited by S H & A Minnice Smith. Pulham 1 Lucy 7th was purchased for 10,000gns at the 2025 Designer Genes Sale. She is sired by Solitude 1 Vantastic EX95 and her dam is Pulham 1 Lucy 4th, another Appel 1 Kaboom daughter.

Standing Reserve Senior Female Champion and second in the cow class to Moralee 1 Pippa RK281, following her all the way was Anroch 1 Lollipop 4th exhibited by Newtoncroft Farms. Lollipop is a March 2022 born cow and was shown with her January born heifer calf at foot, Newtoncroft 1 Libby 581 which is sired by Bosbury 1 Val d’lsere. Lollipop is a Solpoll 1 Payday daughter, a Panmure 1 Henry son and her dam is Anroch 1 Lollipop, a Dorepoll 1 499 High Society daughter. Andrew commented complementing the strength of competition in this cow class and made a point of mentioning it was the best class of the day.

Pepperstock 1 Molly D1200 lead the way in the Juniors taking home Overall Junior Champion and Female Junior Champion after winning the Heifer born on or between 1st September 2025 and 30th September 2025. Exhibited by Speirs Farms, Molly has had a successful summer both as a calf shown under her dam winning Reserve Female Champion at the Royal Three Counties Show, Female Champion and Reserve Breed Champion at the Royal Norfolk Show this year but also in her own right with her most recent success being Overall Breed Champion and Reserve Native Interbreed Champion at Bucks County Show. Molly is sired by Solpoll 1 Spike, a Moeskaer Upgrade son and her dam is Pepperstock 1 Molly V715, a Pepperstock 1 Rebellious daughter.

Sired by the renowned Moralee 1 Rebel Kicks, Sparkles dam is Tynedale 1 Sparkles 674, a Dorepoll 1 60G Chinnok daughter whose bred several show champions for Tom & Di Harrison.

Taking 1st prize in the Heifer born between 1st September 2023 and 31st December 2023, with her own calf at foot born in 2026 was Studdolph 1 Barbie 927 exhibited by Miss E Thorne. Shown with her four month old bull calf at foot Studdolph 1 Lawman, he is sired by Bosbury 1 Bracken, a Grifford 1 Try son. Barbie 927 is sired by Alderville 1 Dover, a Solpoll 1 Lawman son and out of Studdolph 1 Barbie 719, a Lowesmoor 1 Nasser daughter. Barbie recently enjoyed success at Pembrokeshire Show winning a first prize in the cow class and also won Reserve Breed Champion at Pembroke show the year before in 2025.

Kinglee 1 Oyster Gem 756 won the Heifer born on or between 1st January 2024 and 31st August 2024, in calf or with own calf at foot class, exhibited by PK & IF Cobley.
