Northern Ireland’s department of agriculture, environment and rural affairs (DAERA) is seeking opinion on its TB eradication programme via a consultation.

The proposed implementation and next steps of the eradication strategy were put together following consideration of the responses of the DAERA consultation regarding its proposals and response to the report ‘Bovine tuberculosis eradication strategy for Northern Ireland’, which took place in 2017/18.

DAERA has now opened a consultation setting out the minister’s proposals and can be viewed here.

The consultation will close on 10 September 2021.
