A fantastic show was had for the Hereford breed at this year’s Pembrokeshire County Show on Wednesday 19 August, with Herefords coming out on top in the interbreed competitions.
Bumper entries at Burwarton Show on Thursday 6 August saw the Hereford breed take the Interbreed Team of Four Championship, plus a second Reserve Interbreed Championship win in two weeks for Coley 1 Malan 697 from Miss A Jackson-Carr, Sheffield.
Taking the Overall Breed Championship and Reserve Interbreed Championship at the Scottish National Hereford Show, Dumfries, on Saturday 1 August was Coley 1 Malan from Miss A Jackson-Carr.
With a packed ringside and classes streamed live from the Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd on Monday 20 July, all eyes were on the Hereford Breed Championship as decided by judge Mr Colin Soutter, Leicestershire.
Closing out the Great Yorkshire Show in style on Friday 17 July, the Hereford breed was awarded one of the most prestigious prizes on the UK show circuit.
